You're Invited to Our Slow Flowers Dinner on the Farm
We're so excited to share news of the just-confirmed Slow Flowers Dinner that will take place on Sunday, June 30, 2019, the evening prior to the Slow Flowers Summit.
The evening's Flower Farm-to-Table meal will take place at Green Earth Growers, a women-owned plant nursery, vegetable and cut flower farm located outside the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro market.
Come at 4 p.m., and enjoy a farm tour led by Jolea Gress and Jenny Hotz of Green Earth Growers. They'll showcase the beautiful, Minnesota-grown flowers that local florists find at Twin Cities Flower Exchange.
The late-afternoon tour will be followed by our first-ever Slow Flowers Dinner on the Farm!
There is a separate registration required for our Slow Flowers Dinner, an evening of locally-grown food, flowers, entertainment and camaraderie. Tickets are $100 inclusive and you can RSVP and find details by following this link.
If you attend the Slow Flowers Dinner on the Farm, you’ll enjoy an intimate, sensory evening celebrating our true sense of community with other Summit attendees, Slow Flowers members and our Summit speakers in a relaxed environment taking place just prior to the following day’s Summit Conference. We can’t wait to see you there!
Dinner on the Farm is a farm-to-table production of Monica Walch, founder of the successful culinary event series that takes place each year in the St. Paul-Minneapolis area. Dinner on the Farm creates unique local food experiences designed to celebrate farmers, growers, chefs, brewers, distillers, makers and artisans dedicated to good, sustainable food. Through a series of roaming culinary events, Monica and her collaborators work to connect people back to the land and to the farmers and artisans who are making their community a better place to live.
