Summit Happy Hour: Botanical Cocktails from Tattersall Distilling
We are so very excited to announce that Twin Cities' own craft maker of spirits and liqueurs, Tattersall Distilling, will be pouring their "Mayapple" cocktail for Slow Flowers Summit attendees!
And what's more, thanks to Christine Hoffman of Twin Cities Flower Exchange's friendship with them, Tattersall is donating its fabulous cocktail for our happy hour on Monday evening, July 1st!
Here's more about Tattersall Distilling:
Tattersall Distilling is one of the most successful new craft distillers to emerge in the United States in recent years. Founded in 2015 by childhood friends Jon Kriedler and Dan Oskey, the mission at Tattersall has always been about creating the best spirits and liqueurs using only real ingredients -- no fake flavorings or coloring. Tattersall is headquartered in 31,000 square feet of historic, renovated industrial space in North East Minneapolis, Minnesota, and distributes to twenty-two states.
About the "Mayapple"
Tattersall will mix and pour this delicious botanical cocktail at the Slow Flowers Summit Happy Hour reception!
According to founder and chief operator Dan Oskey, the Mayapple contains Gin, Creme de Fleur, Pommeau, citrus and honey.
Tattersall's Gin is comprised of 22 botanicals. The Creme de Fleur is a liqueur made from seven flowers. And the Pommeau is an apple liqueur made from Minnesota apples.
"We very obviously love working with botanical ingredients," Dan says. "Our gin, aquavit, and most of our 15 or so liqueurs rely heavily on the botanical mix. In fact, our botanical room contains well over one hundred different types of botanicals."
